This is another fixture that Bears really should've won quite easily, but instead they made a huge meal of things. Rather than playing anywhere near their potential, Bears' played down to their hosts level throughout the game.
Things started well, as Bears moved into an early lead, but as soon as they looked comfortable they surrendered it. This proved to be the pattern of the match as Bears pulled away, only to gift easy points back to their opponents. Liam Wyatt had a stellar 2nd half as he started to hit from outside, but others failed to deliver when open under the hoop meaning the game was never killed off when it should have been.
In the last minute, Bears allowed Storm to draw level, and even game them a shot at the win. Fortunately, one great defensive play shut down the threat, sending the game into overtime.
Overtime was a rather one-sided affair, with Liam scoring a deuce followed by a big trey to put the score beyond Storm's reach.
