The Bears played host to the first of this seasons Bournemouth debys against Dorset Storm. It was clear from the start that former Storm player Liam Wyatt was on a mission to beat his old team. Wyatt was on fire hitting shots from all over the court, while shutting down Storms usual leading scorer (and former Bear) Polish player Rob Adamowicz. Despite the hot shooting start, Storm kept in close in the first half with physical play inside, scoring on a number of second chance shots.
The 2nd half started with the Bears down 1 point. Mark Sanderson stepped up, scoring on the fast break. But Dorset would not go away with Ian 'Diesel' Saunders lubricating the defence for the STP (Scoring Three Points).
Liam Wyatt was too much for Storm in the 4th quarter, scoring 8 unanswered points to seal the win and keep the Bears undefeted streak alive.
